Strategy

We realise that for girls and young women to enjoy their rights, we need to build their Voice and Skills on their rights and be able to have Agency to claim them for themselves and their peers through identified thematic areas. We work with girls within COMMUNITIES target-ing them as primary beneficiaries of our programmes, building their capacities on issues of their rights, transferring life skills and building their social capital. We then target boys, boys, men, women, community leaders in addressing gender norms that discriminate against girls. The other component of our work, Advocacy then allows us to bring evidence based, girls and young women’s voices and experiences to the national, regional and international levels where we influence policy and laws that advance and protect their rights. We partner with like minded networks, organisations, corporates and leaders locally, regionally and internationally in advancing the girls and young women’s issues.
