House Show on the Cards for Girl Survivors of Gender Based Violence

The Human Rights Activist, Musician and Founder and Executive Director of TaLI, a girls and young women’s rights organisation in Zimbabwe, Nyaradzo Mashayamombe, affectionately known as Nyari, will on the on the 28th hold a ‘House Show’ to raise funds for her nonprofit to benefit girl survivors of gender based violence, as well as give them rural girls a ‘Careers Day’ where girls are meant to be exposed to opportunities that exist outside the confines of their limited backgrounds. The show will be in Washington DC, United States.

Nyaradzo is expected to talk about human rights especially girls and womens’ issues in Zimbabwe, her work with her non profit Tag a Life International (TaLI), as well as sing music from her latest album Zvatiri. The prolific speaker and singer who identifies as a jazz and afro musician will exchange the intimate stage with her friends and singer, Elena Lokoya from Nicaragua, who is also set to share her music. Music lovers in Washington DC from all walks of life, better secure their limited spaces as the show is likely to sale fast.
